For almost 140 years, the Ottawa Valley Hunt (OVH) has been bringing the drama, adventure, and grand spectacle of traditional British foxhunting to Ottawas rural countryside. We specialize in "drag hunting," where hounds and hunt fields follow a fox like scent laid along a preplanned cross country route. We are a nonprofit group and maintain a clubhouse, kennels, and stables. We employ a professional huntsman.Our activities are managed by Joint Masters of Foxhounds and a volunteer board, supported by the teamwork of many member volunteers.
